Hi, I'm Summer. Over the past three years, I've had the privilege of working with children in various settings, from volunteering at a special needs school to babysitting in my neighborhood and working at a summer camp. Each experience has been incredibly rewarding, and I've gained valuable skills in connecting with children and supporting their development. I also have recently gotten out of a job with a lovely and wonderful family who had a 7-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl so I can handle the sibling dynamic. Summer is a wonderful babysitter and does so well with kids of all ages. She babysat regularly for my son when he was in preschool and helped get him to and from school on certain days. She was always on time and took the time to plan fun activities for my son after school. Occasionally my son would have a hard time regulating his emotions and summer had really helpful tools that worked well to settle him down. She even taught me some helpful methods that really made a difference. When I asked how the day was, she would give helpful, considerate feedback instead of just the usual “everything was fine”. I highly recommend Summer for any family looking for a reliable, thoughtful care taker for all ages of children. She’s really amazing!
