About Susan

Hi, I'm Susan! It only allows care for a client up to a year, but I am committed to providing care for as long as needed. I have nearly 19 years of nursing experience, primarily in elder care, and supporting individuals with a wide range of disabilities and care needs. I spent 10 years as an EMT, until pregnancy made it unsafe for me to continue the physical aspects. I am CPR certified and have extensive experience, that includes wound care, colostomy and catheter care (no insertion of catheters), suction, feeding tubes, and assisting with all ADLs. I am also a certified dementia care specialist and have experience working with hospice patients. Its my honor to be the one providing comfort, dignity, and compassionate support during their final stages of life. I pride myself on having an excellent bedside manner and creating bonds with those I care for. I bring a positive, caring presence to every client. The people I care for become more than just clients, they become family.
