About Susan

Hi! My name is Susan and I recently retired from my job as a paraprofessional in the public schools, where I worked for 14 yrs. I worked with children from pre-school through middle school, many of whom had special needs. I was a stay at home mother until my daughters were 7 and 10; they are now 21 and 24. Prior to having my children, I helped care for many of my nieces and nephews, worked in telecom and nannied. I enjoy spending time with children of all ages and love to support moms as they adjust to parenthood. I have a keen understanding of child development and appropriate expectations with regard to age and differing abilities. As a caretaker, I will provide a safe, nurturing, fun environment for your children. Along with childcare, I am happy to cook, clean, organize and drive to and from school/activities. I'm fully vaccinated as are all the people I spend time with (except for kids under 5). I would love to hear from you if you think I would be a good fit for your family!
