About Susan

Hello, my name is Susan. I was a career bartender for about 35 years and in my retirement, I felt the urge to do something with my time. A good friend of mine introduced me to being a caregiver. Five years ago, on a whim I gave it a try with a few shifts and found my calling. Having gone through illness in my life and caring for my own aging parents I understand what people look for in a caregiver and companion especially during their most difficult times. I have learned many things through working in home care from both my clients and their families. Services I offer include medication management, grocery shopping, errands, prescription pick-up, doctor's appointments, personal care, light cooking/meal prep, hospice care, and more. I have become accustomed to working overnight shifts, so I am flexible with my hours. I have learned a lot over the past five years from my clients, the most valuable of which is how to age gracefully and gain perspective on life.
