About Susanne

I'm an East Irondequoit resident and am beginning my 28th year as an Art teacher with the Rochester City School District. Although I currently teach high school, I've spent much of my career working with younger children, including more than 20 years at the elementary level and 10 years at the middle school level. I'm also a mom of two sons, with my youngest heading off to college. I began babysitting at age 13 and continued through college, including regularly caring for a family of five children for several years. I also spent several summers working as an Art teacher at a children's summer camp. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and am comfortable helping with homework, reading, snacks, crafts and art projects, play, and everyday routines. As both a longtime teacher and a parent, I understand how important it is to find someone who is dependable, patient, responsible, and caring. I'd love to provide that kind of support for another . I am also pet friendly.
