About Susan

As an experienced professional with strong communication skills, I enjoy working with children and helping them achieve their highest potential. I currently work full time during the school year at an elementary school in the special education department. I have worked in the public school systems for many years. In the past, I have also held a career as a professional musician. I have played in many weddings, symphony orchestras, churches, and other private venue events. In addition to this responsibility, I have maintained a position as a private lesson instructor for students of all ages at my home studio and outside music and art centers. I have always loved children, and working with them gives me great joy. I am a mother of five, as well as taking on the responsibility of becoming the guardian of another child when his mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I have also worked in many fields of medical care from newborn care to the elderly on hospice.
