About Sydney

Hello! My name is Sydney and I am a recent graduate from Illinois State University; I received a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education. I have always loved kids and wanted to work with them. I am currently off for the summer as I am looking to secure my first full-time teaching position. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, outspoken, and creative. I like working with kids because I am personally a child at heart, while maintaining a supervision role. I am great at building individual bonds with children; I believe this is so important in order to gain that sense of trust. My skills include relationship building, parental/guardian communication, and excellent people skills!
