About Sydney

Children freshen my outlook on the world, and for that, I love spending time with them! I have over 5 years of experience babysitting, house-sitting, and pet-sitting. I graduated from Hofstra University. I played on Hofstra's D1 Field Hockey team; collegiate sports solidified my leadership, diligence, and accountability. I began babysitting at my high school, Norfolk Academy, an institution that taught me a great deal about the importance of honor and community. I babysat for some of the faculty's children. Working with up to six kids, three dogs, and a cat at once was most definitely always an adventure. I'd quickly bounce back and forth between all the activities throughout the house, providing supervision, counsel, and an open mind for the children's imagination. I have taken care of adolescents of all ages, even as young as newborns. Children bring out my energetic bubbly side. I find great joy in aiding their creativity and individual growth. The experience is unparalleled.
