About Sydney

Hi there! My name is Sydney and I am 22 years old. I currently live in Pilsen and attend the University of Illinois at Chicago. I am pursuing a communications degree, but also have much experience in childcare. I am the oldest of 4 kids at home and my siblings have made me who I am today. Growing up I was my moms right hand helper due to my dad traveling a lot for work. I have experience nannying/babysitting for over 10 families including my cousins family with a child who has special needs. I live positive and choose a "gentle parent" approach if and when challenges arise. I believe in limited screen time for children (limited not none). I would rather engage in playing outside, crafts, board games, reading, and other things the kids love to play. I am a tough, loyal, curious, passionate young woman. My goal is to help families around me and form real and lasting relationships for the people I care for.
