About Sye

Hi! My name is Sye Lorien, and I'm currently a graduate Social Work student at Columbia University. I offer childcare, pet care, senior care, and household assistance related to childcare. I have experience working with children from infancy through school age. I have gained experience in a variety of settings, including volunteering, working in a childcare center, and interning at a Children's Advocacy Center. As a graduate social work student, my focus is working with children and families, and I am passionate about supporting children's growth and well-being. My responsibilities have included supervising play, helping with homework, preparing meals, and supporting daily routines. I am CPR and First Aid certified, have reliable transportation, and can assist with school pick-ups, bedtime routines, homework help, and light housekeeping related to childcare. As a social work student, I also bring patience, strong communication skills, and emotional support to my work with children.
