I have 20 years experience working with kids, caring for newborns to 12 Years old. 8 years with special needs and Autism children. Some babysitting on call. This profession is something I love doing because everyday is different and new and it's amazing being part of a child learning and growing as a person. I like art, crafts, play piano, cooking and keep the place tidy. I'm organized, loving, patient, outgoing and love planning activities that children will find entertaining. Sylvia was our nanny for over four years. She is extremely trustworthy, hardworking, and wonderful with little kids. She kept our kids entertained with imaginary play and fun at the park! I’m sure your kids will love her as well! 

Sylvia came to interview us and quickly became our 3 month old daughter's new best friend. She immediately took her in her arms, dressed her in an adorable outfit, and took of with joy to sing, play, and dance with her. She got our little wiggle worm to finish all her bottles, and she was so worn out from all the fun she took longer than average naps too! Sylvia was a warm and loving presence, with a wealth of experience to share with us first time parents, and I would hire her for care in the future without hesitation.

Sylvia has a true passion for working with children. Formed an instant bond with our son. She is caring, creative, compassionate, and full of energy. she showed up each day with a smile on her face ready to take on the day. She always had fun activities planned than kept him busy without the use of screen time. She Is a very hard worker -she was with us for two years and never once called out sick. She frequently brought my son to the park to run outside and play, the library, and walks around the neighborhood. I always felt he was safe and well taken care of.

Took her days to respond to me about scheduling.I can't even tell if she's a real person or a robot because it literally took her days to respond to text messages. I wouldn't hire her anyways because communication is important when someone has your children. She's probably a lovely lady but not good with communicating. 

Sylvia took care of my 3 month old baby boy. She immediately felt like a part of our family. She Skyped with me almost every day during my lunch hour because it was so hard for me to be away from him. She is an excellent cook! Many times my husband and I came home from a long day of work to a delicious home cooked healthy meal. When the baby napped, Sylvia kept busy and tidied up the house. She is really great with babies, they love her! We love her as well! We would still be working with her but I had such a hard time being away from the baby that I switched to part-time.

Sylvia took care of our son and daughter, then in elementary and middle school, including picking up after school and driving to activities. She is smart, caring, trustworthy and dependable. She also did housework, including laundry, and was willing to start dinner if asked.

Highly recommend Sylvia. She's very professional. She took care of my children. She would start the day early by taking my older son to school and taking care of my younger son at home. She was very attentive to my sons' physical, emotional and academic needs. She would involve them in activities such as swimming, going to the park, etc. She would also fix very healthy meals for them and make them aware of the importance of good eating habits. She got my younger son kindergarten-ready and continued to help them with their homework, tutoring, and academic enrichment activities. She was very loving and supportive of their emotional needs. The children have very good memories of Sylvia and appreciate her contribution in their upbringing and well-being.

Sylvia cared for my Mother for a short period due to my Mother being unable to drive. She took her to the senior center, movies and other places she or my Mom would come up with. Sylvia's happy, friendly manner, brought out the Mother I knew who was sad due to her being unable to drive. She became a part of the family and like a good friend to my Mother. She was very creative in coming up with things my mother would enjoy doing. Sadly my Mother decided to move to another state where more of our family lived and had to be let Sylvia go. Would gladly hire her for any job I could for her. She had a way with people I've seen in few people. She's not for those looking for a guard. Her approach was more loving and she worked to get cooperation not force it. We still speak to her once in a while and miss her. Good employee, highly recommended.

Sylvia worked for our family 2006-2008 when our two children were in elementary and middle school and needed reliable after-school care and to be driven to activities. She was able to be flexible according to their changing schedules, and she showed quickly that she understood their personalities and bonded easily with them. Sylvia also helped with housework and laundry and was willing to prepare meals if we needed her to. I recommend her highly!

Sylvia was a wonderful addition to our household.  She worked for us for many years, helping raise our two young children. She cooked, did housework, and even was available for some overnights so my wife and I could occasionally get away. Our one boy is autistic and she has experience handling a special needs child. I highly recommend her.
