About Sylvia

Hi, My name is Sylvia. I'm a 67 years old retired professional looking to spend part of my free time as a Companion Care provider for seniors. While I am not a medical caregiver, I bring something equally important; life experience, patience, emotional steadiness, and sincere compassion. I helped care for my very ill mother and my 99-year-old uncle during the final years of their lives, which taught me the importance of offering dignity, kindness and simply being present. I also Nanny my young niece and nephew part time and have since birth, which requires most of the same qualities I'm offering here. I Provide: * Friendly conversation & companionship * Watching television together * Reading aloud * Playing games or light activities * Assistance with letters or correspondence * Light lunch preparation.
