I am a CAPPA trained postpartum doula! I have 30 years of experience with children. I worked as a nurse for many years . I started working as a nanny. I love children at all ages. During my 23 years in the US I helped many families through the postpartum stage. It's a magical time when you bring home your baby but it's also the hardest time for families. Recovering from birth and also taking care of the family and new baby moms can use all the help they can get. I help families plan ahead also so when they come home from the hospital everything in order for them to just enjoy their time with their newborn! I also help families at night taking care of their newborn so the mom and dad can get enough sleep and mom can heal. lets meet and see how I can hep you mornings im available 9am-2; 30 nights 9pm-7 a.m. thank you One thing you should know about me is I will love and care for your child like they are my own !

Svilvia watched our son, C, almost full-time for three months this summer. I cannot say enough great things about her! C was at home with me for 11 months until Svilvia started. I was really anxious about the transition and it was tough for about a week or so as he got his bearings. Fast forward to a month later, when he was no longer running to me sad that I was leaving, but rather, to give me a hug before heading straight back to Svilvia to play. I worked from home most of the time Svilvia was with us and got to witness her with C. firsthand. She was not just attentive: she was engaged. She is patient, calm, and confident. She was always on time and a great communicator - sending pictures and updates and asking questions if she didn't know the answer. She took C on walks, played with him outside, worked with him on developmental skills - including going feet-first whenever he went down a step. (Something he does religiously to this day!) She also has a great sense of humor and makes a mean grilled cheese, both which Charlie thoroughly appreciated :) Although housework was not part of the job description, Svilvia took it upon herself to do dishes, slice watermelon, fold laundry, and lightly clean. She even helped set-up a birthday tent that should have taken 6 people with just her and I! Something that makes Svilvia really valuable is that she's a mom to a 5-year-old boy. So she knows firsthand the struggles that parents go through in these early years and is personally tuned in to what parents of today are thinking/worried about (i.e. kids' emotional development, development milestones, etc.) At the end of the day, what was most important to us was that Charlie was safe, happy and loved. Svilvia made sure he was all three everyday. Perhaps the most glowing recommendation of how much our entire family loves her is that we still see her often. The last time we did, which was 2 weeks after we'd last seen her (a long time in 1-year-old world!), Charlie walked up to her and just put his head on her shoulder in an embrace. Whoever hires Svilvia is lucky to have someone like her watching their child!
