About Taelor

I am a graduate of The University of Vermont with a degree in English Literature & I am a certified Forest Therapy practitioner. Both reading and spending time in nature are very important to me when it comes to any child or group of children I work with. I have experience as a babysitter, nanny, and a pre-primary Montessori teacher (2&3-year-olds) and High School substitute teacher and Forest camp counselor. I have worked with children ranging from just weeks d to those in their late teens. I grew up with two siblings 15 years younger than I am, both of whom taught me very much about childcare and in some ways are who inspired my love for working with children. I take a creative approach with children -- I try for a "no screens" policy -- art, movement, meditation, fresh air , gardening & natare walks are the type of engagements I encourage.
