About Tamara

Hi I'm Tamara & I have 9 years of child care experience. I've worked in schools, daycares, & private home settings. I specialize in early childhood development, earning multiple certifications throughout my career. I'm certified by New York State through OCFS in many trainings such as managing children behavior, safety and health. I teach children through play, creative arts, stem & personal interests. I have experience working with children on the autism spectrum and in speech therapy. I believe it's important to make connections with children through their interests to help them understand their growing environment & needs. My mission is to provide a safe, nurturing & enriching experience for families. The enjoyment of being part of the educational and fundamental growth of children is very rewarding. No matter the age of the child and being able to teach them and have fun at the same time, is why I love the career of childcare.
