About Tameka

Hi! I'm Tameka, an experienced childcare professional with 20+ years supporting children, including infants, and families in school and home settings. I hold a Master's degree in Psychology with advanced training in mental health and family systems. I'm passionate about creating environments that nurture emotional safety, curiosity, and joy. I also hold certifications in CPR-First Aid-AED, and ITF Services with the (CDSA). I have extensive experience supporting children from infancy through school age and enjoy fostering growth through play, reading, singing, age-appropriate learning, and positive routines. I naturally incorporate social-emotional learning into daily interactions, helping children build confidence, independence, strong communication skills, and a sense of security at every stage of development. I'm seeking a full-time/part-time position with consistent weekday hours, clear communication, PTO (sick days, holidays, vacation) and guaranteed hours.
