I was a Veterinary Technician years ago and have experience with special-need pets that require medical attention: medications, injections, wound care, SQ Fluids, special diets, and with a watchful intuitive eye with great observation skills. 
I raised/bred/trained Pembroke Welsh Corgis for 30 years experience. 
I'm also attuned to senior pets needing a calm, slower handling, care and gentle walks plus nervous Rescue pets. I'm used to taking care of multiple pet households with ease. 
Pet care is my innate natural gift. 
I offer day visits, emergency vet visits, and also vacation/ overnight care around the clock and Housesitting.

Tamme has watched my cat over the years and she’s always great to work with. It’s nice to be able to go on vacation and not have to worry about my pet. I especially appreciate how thorough she is and all the questions she asks beforehand. And of course, she always makes sure to give me daily updates.

In the 15+ years I have known Tamme you need to know that she is dependable, reliable, clean/neat, organized (great house/pet manager) smoke-free and respectful of people's homes, privacy and time. Great with medical care for pets and traumatized Rescues. And she does it all with a loving heart and a gentle touch. I highly recommend her. 

I met Tamme here on Care.com. She agreed to come to do a meet and greet for her fee of $35. I was looking for a birdsitter to come for an hour a day while I was away for Thanksgiving. My regular sitter had not replied to my request and I thought I had 10 days to get one. Tamme seemed to be adequate. She presented with a list of demands: she would arrive with a series of forms to fill out with all the protocols, contact info for emergencies, and she required the exact procedures needed. She described that she had to be paid cash or ZELLE for the meet and greet and cash / or Zelle for the 50% deposit and the payment in full on or before the end of the gig. Her website profile said she was $25/ hour and at the meet and greet she decided because I had the birds in 3 cages, (the 2 girl cockatiels in one, the 3 boy cockatiels in another and the African Grey parrot in her own cage) I felt pressured because she said she was very experienced, and very busy and that it was Tuesday before the Thursday of Thanksgiving so just 10 days before the gig. So I gave her a deposit of $60 (now the gig was going to be $35 x 4= $140) by Zelle, a total of $95. This was Tuesday 10:30am. By that afternoon I heard from my regular sitter confirming the gig. (oh no!- but of course I'd rather have the regular known sitter!) So I texted Tamme again and again and left a voice mail all asking to have the gig canceled and return the deposit. She finally got back the next day and refused to return the deposit. She was very busy and she had to keep the deposit because she had made a commitment and she honors her commitments and it didnt matter that I got back to her right away. She was keeping it. ____ Way to guarantee that she would never get a call from me. Just my opinion with the facts. 

Tamme was lovely to work with and took very good care of my two parakeets on my four-day trip. As promised, I got pictures at each visit she made to care for the birds and it was really nice to know they were in good hands. I could tell Tamme truly cares about them and about doing a great job. She was considerate of their shy natures when we initially met and I appreciate that! I would definitely hire her again 😊

Tamme was amazing and great with both of our dogs that have special needs. She keep us updated with text messages and pictures. If you need a dog sitter that you can trust in your house to take care of your dogs she’s the person of you!

Tamme is so great!!! She really went out of her way to follow instructions perfectly and spend great time with our Kitties. She also helped with instructions for our neighbor, who was caring for them towards the end of our trip. One of our cats is on chemo/paladia, so it was a comfort that Tamme had worked as a vet tech and was able to give him his pills easily. I am hiring her again for sure!! Hopefully during our wedding!

Tamme was really wonderful with my two pups. She's very responsive, thorough and knowledgeable and I knew that we were all in very good hands. One of my pups was recovering from an illness while the other is just a puppy, and the two combined is not exactly an easy job but Tamme was great and it was clear that they were both really happy when I returned home. Very grateful to Tamme and would recommend her highly.

Tamme is amazing. She stayed at our house for a week to watch our two senior dogs while we were traveling. She is very experienced in providing medical care to animals and was able to administer our dog's insulin injections and other medications properly. Tamme was proactive, punctual, and reliable. We had no doubts our dogs were getting the best love and care while we were out. We will continue to use Tamme's services for all of our dog sitting needs. In fact we have already booked her to watch them in June.

We are so thankful we found Tamme to care for our two dogs while we were away on extended travel. I was anxious finding someone who not only understood how important our dogs are to us, but also someone who was trustworthy and dependable. Tamme is truly gifted as a caregiver who communicated clearly, promptly, and thoughtfully. She made time to meet with us in our home before our trip to get to know our dogs first. She asked a lot of useful questions that I hadn't even thought of. We have a new puppy who is still learning boundaries with our older dog so we were looking for an experienced caregiver. Not only did she put us at ease while we were away, providing the right balance of updates, she also even worked on some behavioral training with our pup. When we got back, our home was spotless and our pup had even learned some great new tricks to help with some of her bad habits. Tamme is so helpful - she is even coming back to show us how she taught our pup new behaviors. She's the best!

Whenever we've had her take care of our cats, we always feel as though she's deeply committed to the well being and care - physically and psychologically - of our kitties. She takes lots of pictures, she communicates really well, and genuinely cares for animals as though they are her own.  My cats, who were strays and are very skittish, took to her quickly! That says something. 

I highly recommend Tammé! I get nervous leaving my cats with people but I never feel that way with her!

I had such a great initial meeting with Tammé. Unfortunately my senior cat passed before she could watch him, but I had 110% confidence in her abilities to do so. We met Tamme on Care.com, and she has come to our house a few times to spend time with our little Olive, a VERY shy dachshund/ beagle mix.  Tamme has been trustworthy and patient with Olive, and has taken the time to understand Olive's quirks and respond accordingly.  Tamme is also very responsive and has done her best to work with our schedule and make herself available when needed.  We will continue to ask Tamme to come spend time with Olive, and would recommend her for other families looking for a dog-sitter.

Tamme is such a blessing! 

She's been a great addition to our family. We have a temperamental feline rescue and a 18 year old mini Chihuahua, Juliet, that's on various meds and has a lot of special needs. Both animals took to her immediately. Tamme is very sweet and the animals love her. My senior pup is such a good walker with Tamme (Juliet is resistant with others) and I can tell Juliet has had a good time when I come home b/c she's more peppy and happy. It feels good knowing Juliet is cared for and loved when I am away. 
Tamme is also very dependable and responsible. She gets back to me right away and always communicates things from her visits which is helpful too.

We feel very safe having her in our home and having her in charge of our pets care. I highly recommend her!

Tamme cared for our senior dog for about a month, and we're very happy that we found her. She came out of her way to meet with us in person and asked a lot of questions to make sure she understood our dog's needs and routine. While caring for our dog, she provided updates but was also very considerate with communication while we were away. Our pup was very comfortable in her care, and she even went the extra mile to provide him with special treats. We definitely recommend Tamme!

Tammé has helped me considerably with my aging and somewhat compromised senior pet.  Keeper and I have had to make some adjustments.  But, having someone as reliable as Tammé  has been has eased my head when I'm at work.  She's informed and knowledgeable, as well.  In addition, she's quick to respond to any message.  I had issues with phone which might have been problems with others was a non factor with her.  Communicating well with someone amidst life's hiccups cannot be understated.  If you're hesitant, give her a chance.
