About Tammy

I am a compassionate and dedicated caregiver and educator with experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a long-term care facility, where I supported up to 11 residents daily with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance. I also provided companionship and engagement through conversation and recreational activities, helping to create a respectful and supportive environment. In addition to my professional experience, I provided full-time, 24-hour care for my grandmother during her year-long battle with brain cancer, ensuring her comfort, safety, and dignity throughout her illness. I am currently a Special Education teacher for adult students, where I focus on teaching job readiness skills and preparing individuals for the workforce. This includes developing communication, daily living, and vocational skills tailored to each student's needs, with an emphasis on independence, confidence, and real-world application.
