About Tandeka

I'd describe my personality as warm, funny, generous. I like working with kids because they're fascinating, funny, hopeful. I'm looking for a job that allows me to support a young person's development in a meaningful way. I started working with kids when I was a swim teacher at summer camp during college. In my spare time, I like to do ceramics, yoga, work out, watch documentaries. kind of a nerd. One thing you should know about me is i'm a responsible, mature adult that will always prioritize the safety of your precious cargo. My skills include child development. i'm a therapist by training (clinical social worker/trained at Smith College). Have worked with kids of all ages in multiple settings with a variety of backgrounds.
