About Tanya

Hello! My name is Tanya, and I have over 13 years of experience working with children in educational settings. I hold a Substitute Teaching Permit and have dedicated my career to supporting children's growth, learning, and well-being. My education background, I worked as a swim instructor for four summers, teaching water safety and swimming skills to children of various ages. I also have one year of experience as a daytime nanny, providing attentive care, engaging activities, meal preparation, and support with daily routines. For the past 10 years, I have worked extensively with children in Special Education, developing patience, adaptability, and a strong understanding of diverse learning and behavioral needs. I am committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children can feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to thrive. I enjoy planning fun activities/crafts, helping with homework, and building meaningful connections with the families I work with.
