About Tappan

Hello! My name is Tappan and I'm a 2nd year medical student at Baylor College of Medicine, and an aspiring pediatrician. I've always loved working with kids, and I hope to bring a patient, energetic, fun, and caring experience for any family I work with. I have prior experience as a camp counselor, swim teacher, tutor, and neighborhood sitter. I worked full-time in a pediatric neurology clinic before starting medical school, and I currently volunteer as a mentor for refugee youth in the Houston area. I'm certified in Advanced Life Support (including CPR), and I'm happy to work with any ages! I'm typically available for weekend babysitting or weeknight date nights! Happy to help with homework, bedtime routines, light meal prep, or keeping your little ones engaged with crafts, games, or reading. I'd love the chance to support your family and provide a safe and caring environment for your kiddos!
