My mom ran a family daycare from the time I was born through my college years .... each Saturday, I led a morning playgroup for parents to drop kids off and get errands done :) When I was 6, I was charging quarter an hour as a mother's helper (!), introducing myself to pregnant moms; quickly becoming a very "busy babysitter" in my neighborhood. Now I am grown up with kids of my own who no longer live at home and in a pause in my career. I am most interested in providing child-care to families within an hour drive of my home in Middlesex. My hourly rate is $35/hr. plus . 76 cents/mile for roundtrip mileage. I do not drive children I care for. I have reliable transportation year round and comfortable on back roads. I do not smoke. I keep a flexible schedule for spontaneous care for parents in a pinch. I can not usually offer shifts longer then 6 hours. I am comfortable with dogs if they are non-threatening and able to be in another room as needed. Thank you.
