My mother ran a family home daycare from the time I was born through my college years. Each Saturday I led a morning playgroup for parents to drop kids off and get their errands done. I started to be a mothers helper at age 6, back when I charged a quarter an hour!, introducing myself to ALL the pregnant moms in my neighborhood. Now with children of my own, I offer childcare to families within an hours drive from my home in Middlesex, VT. My hourly fee is $35 per hour plus . 76 cents/mile for all roundtrip mileage.

Tara watched our 10 week old baby on very short notice after our regular babysitter had an emergency. She was extremely experienced, thoughtful and kind. You can tell she has a way with children and was so engaged with our baby. Even though she didn't need to, she took our dog on walks and tidied up for us, which was very appreciated as tired new parents! Would definitely recommend Tara!
