About Tashana

Hi! My name is Tashana, and I am a junior at the UIS majoring in Secondary English and Educational Psychology. I am passionate about working with children and helping them learn, grow, and succeed. I have experience working in infant and toddler daycare classrooms, serving as an assistant teacher in 1st and 5th grade classrooms, and teaching an 11th/12th grade college seminar course where I helped students explore college and post-secondary opportunities. In addition to my professional experience, I have over 10 years of babysitting experience caring for children of all ages, including children with special needs. I am patient, reliable, nurturing, and committed to creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for every child. Whether it's helping with homework, planning activities, or maintaining daily routines, I strive to provide quality care that families can trust.
