About Taylor

I'd describe my personality as extroverted, empathetic, and caring. I am from Atlanta. I am a second year at UVA, studying psychology/behavioral neuroscience. I have 2 younger siblings that I am very close with. I'm looking for a position where I can work closely with families and build a meaningful connections with your children. I began babysitting professionally at 12 and have 7 years of experience caring for various families. This past summer, I worked at a camp for children with special needs and life challenges (such as Type 1 Diabetes, cancer, Down syndrome, and grief), which was the most rewarding experience of my life. I live with Type 1 Diabetes myself, which is well-managed and completely independent. It's taught me immense responsibility and resilience, and it never interferes with my work. I am CPR and first aid certified. In my spare time, I love being outdoors, doing arts and crafts, studying, and watching movies. I can't wait to meet you!
