About Terrance

Hello! My name is Terrance (22), and I am an Senior Instrumental Music Education major at UNCG and a future public school music teacher. I became a caregiver because I love working with young learners and want to gain experience that will help me become the best educator I can be. I enjoy creating a safe, positive environment where children can learn and have fun. I am a patient, calm, friendly, and adaptable person. Outside of being a cellist, I enjoy cooking, baking, singing, dancing, reading stories, and introducing children to music through fun, hands-on activities that encourage creativity and critical thinking. I previously narrated children's books at my local library and have taught music to students ages 7 through adulthood for the past 5 years, giving me experience engaging children of different ages.
