About Tess

I absolutely love working with children and am an enthusiastic caregiver. I have had 3 years of working experience at summer camps and after school programs with children of varying mental and physical ability levels. I work for many families in Fairfield County and am always willing to work a flexible schedule. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, responsible, and caring. I like working with kids because I have always had wonderful experiences with so many children and love building a relationship with the kids I have babysat. I am a natural caregiver and know how to balance providing the kids with a fun time while maintaining a safe physical and emotional environment. I'm looking for a job that is relatively consistent with hours and time. I started working with kids when I was a young teenager, as a mother's helper and with families in my neighborhood and my cousins. I started working for the local YMCA in summer of 2021 when I was 16 years old.
