About Thalia

Hi! I'm Thalía, a bilingual English and Spanish educator and lifelong New Yorker. I currently work as a special education teacher and have experience supporting children with a wide range of learning, communication, and support needs. I enjoy creating safe, engaging, and nurturing environments where children can learn, play, and be themselves. In addition to my classroom experience, I have worked in parks, community programs, and youth-centered organizations across New York City. Families describe me as patient, dependable, creative, and attentive. Whether we're reading books, doing arts and crafts, exploring nature, or helping with homework, I strive to make every child feel supported and valued. I am committed to open communication with families and providing care that is respectful, inclusive, and responsive to each child's unique needs.
