About Thalia

Hello! My name is Thalia. I'm a patient, compassionate, and reliable nanny and tutor with experience supporting elementary students' literacy and academic growth. I've helped a family strengthen their daughters' reading and writing skills through individualized lessons that emphasize patience, empathy, and social-emotional learning (SEL) to support overall confidence and learning. I'm currently in graduate school and serving as a long-term substitute for K-6 Science and PE, which has strengthened my instructional planning and ability to support diverse learners. I value creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel encouraged to grow. In my free time, I enjoy reading, going to the gym, and spending time with my family. I'm based in Chula Vista/South Bay, with flexible availability upon request.
