About Theresa

I'd describe my personality as caring, flexible, adventurous. I love to see children develop new skills and confidence with support and encouragement in a safe environment. I'm looking for a job where I can help parents and caregivers get a break knowing that their loved ones will be taken care of and treated well. I have three adult children and my son is on the autistic spectrum. Over the years I have managed his therapies and seen him make great progress. I understand different ways of learning and positive encouragement. I was a Girl Scout leader, Boy Scout Assistant Scout Master and room mother over the years. In my spare time, I like to hang out with family and friends, hike, bike and try new recipes. One thing you should know about me is that I have a lot of patience and understand different learning methods. Based on their abilities, I break down tasks so that they can be successful. My skills include patience, caring and compassion.
