Hello I have been an executive director of assisted living and Memory Care communities for 30 years and also an admissions director for hospice for 2 years. I then spent five years being an advocate for families who had members with dementia and or Alzheimer's. I can come into your home and help evaluate what your loved one needs I can spend time with your loved one while you need to do other tasks or run errands or go to an event or even leave town for a Time. I do everything with them except hand Hands-On care such as bathing and incontinent tasks. I even do personal aromatherapy which is a program I started personally with the company that I last worked for. I give warm lavender oil scalp massages because it's been proven that pure essential oil can penetrate the blood-brain barrier and therefore relax a person with dementia and or Alzheimer's and often can alter their behaviors when having off days.
