Hello, I am currently a first grade paraprofessional that just graduated with my masters in elementary education. I have been working with kids my whole life from teaching gymnastics, babysitting, and teaching in the NYC Department of Education public school system. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, responsible, and personable. I started working with kids when I was 10, because I am the oldest of 8 cousins and 3 brothers. My professional work with kids started at 17 when I began working at The Little Gym, which is gymnastics classes for children as well as parents and their infants. I worked for 4 years. After this I moved on to working for the Department of education. I was also a nanny this past summer for 2 kids, a 1-year-old boy and 7-year-old girl. I would take them to the pool and other activities, cook for them, do light cleaning, and anything else they needed.

Theresa is a phenomenal babysitter. She really goes above and beyond with the kids! Theresa watched my children last summer. I have 2 daughters, 7 and 5, and throughout her time watching them she would keep them engaged. It’s obvious that Theresa is experienced with children, especially since she is becoming a teacher and is currently a para in an elementary school. She is loving, nurturing, and will care for your kids like they’re her own. She is great at dealing with behavioral issues and was always keeping my girls engaged with fun activities, like going for walks, going to the park, and reading with them. She truly goes above and beyond! The girls miss her so much.
