About Theresa

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, enthusiastic and resilient I like working with kids because helping them learn and grow is a passion of mine. They are unique, hilarious and gifted when directed and treasured by the right adults. I'm looking for a job that values my time and can allow me to focus on nannying one child. I would be a part of the family and would honor that title as much as I honor my own motherhood. I started working with kids when I was 16. I taught for 5 years in public education in a myriad of classrooms. I also coached girls basketball. In my spare time, I like to travel with my husband and son, . Read, write and go on walks to get my steps in! One thing you should know about me is how much I care and how big my heart is. I just am burned out from public education, especially after becoming a mother. My skills include having a masters degree in K-12 literacy development, time management and my engagement and energy towards children.
