About Timothy

I'd describe my personality as optimistic, encouraging, and thoughtful I like caring for seniors because I grew up with my grandma living with us and really enjoyed getting to know her better. My grandma suffered from dementia which made taking care of her involve extra considerations for her safety and comfort. By understanding her story I was able to better know my parents and the legacy of our family. By getting to take care of her I learned a lot about how to create a safe space where seniors can still feel independence and autonomy over their life. I'm looking for a job that has flexible hours and the opportunity to work with people. In my spare time, I like to read, exercise, and spend time with community. I am a big literature buff and love to share in other people's reading experiences.
