About Tracy

I have experience working with exotic animals (reptiles, birds, saltwater fishtanks), farm animals (chickens and ducks), and domestic companion animals of all ages. I've always owned dogs and cats, myself (I currently have a boisterous and playful german shepherd puppy who I am taking through the K9 Institute training method). I fostered an 8-week-old puppy for a month and a half, providing for and attending to all of his health and behavioral care needs until we could find a perfect forever home. For a month, I lodged and cared for five baby geckos, including feeding, cleaning, handling, and record keeping. I "homestead-sat" a microfarm in Maine for two weeks, which involved caring for chickens, ducks, cats, and two large saltwater fishtanks. As the temperatures dropped below zero, the chicken coop required monitoring and fresh water twice a day.

Tracy took amazing care of my leopard geckos both times she’s watched them for me. It’s not easy finding someone to pet sit for reptiles, but she’s been wonderful with them. She treats them like her own. They all eat great for her. Because reptiles often stop eating in new situations or when they are stressed, their good appetites are indicative of them being comfortable with her. I highly recommend Tracy for your pet care needs!
