I have graduated from University of Saint Joseph with my masters in Education and with 2 years experience in working full-time as a reading interventionist. I graduated from my undergrad with a certification in early childhood education and sociology. I am looking for a tutor job near West Hartford, CT. I have been a nanny for a family of 3 children, ages 4 years old, 2 years old and a newborn. I was their nanny until I started graduate school. Two summers ago, I was a mother's helper to two children in Manhattan, New York. Last year, I began teaching first grade in Windsor, CT. I love first grade because I can see how much growth they make in reading. That is the year they learn all their initial skills needed for a fluent reader who can comprehend their reading. I have experience in teaching reading to kindergarten, first and second graders. I would love to help your child learn and love to read!

Tressa is amazing! She worked with our family for 9 months until she went back to school. Tressa has a great way with all kids. She is kind and patient and very fun! She is dependable and you will never see her on her phone. When she is with your kids they are her main focus. She is a very rare find for any family!
