About Trudy

Fostering a child's growth and development is my true passion, and I have dedicated 24 years to making a positive impact on the lives of families. My approach is defined by a calm, patient demeanor and a friendly, approachable nature. I hold a degree in Liberal Studies from Longwood University with a focus on Early Child Development, and I maintain current CPR Training and First Aid Training. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules while creating an engaging environment. I love facilitating learning through sensory activities, science experiments, and history-based games. I provide regular updates through written daily reports, verbal check-ins, or texts to ensure you feel connected to your child's day. I am happy to assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping. I do prefer a first floor care situation/accommodation. I truly look forward to becoming a trusted partner in your child's journey and growing alongside your family.
