Having an autistic sibling whom I have taken care of for the majority of my life has helped me acquire skills that I find important especially when taking care of younger children who require tons of patience and support. Growing up with an autistic sibling has given me firsthand experience and understanding of the patience, empathy, and specialized care required for not only children with special needs but all kids. Painting is also one of my biggest hobbies and I love engaging in several arts and crafts so if that is an outlet or something your child(s) would like I can assist with that as well.
