If I could describe myself in this field it would be organized , attentive and caring. I entered the healthcare field right after Highschool in 2017 at 18 years old. My very first senior care job was at Four Chaplin's Nursing care center and a year later switched to senior group homes & home health care. My job was to assist residents with everyday tasks such as transferring , bathing , meal preparation , laundry, housekeeping, activities & medications. I have experience working with Alzheimer's , Dementia, Cerebral Palsy, OCD and hospice residents. I'm also familiar with gait belt transfers and hoyer lifting as well as tube feeding . I've mostly worked with female residents so I've assisted with nail painting , hair styling and spending time doing their favorite hobbies . I also provided patience , companionship, socialization and emotional support to the residents and families. My availability is Monday - Thursday, 3p - 10p . And my starting pay rate is $18 an hour .
