About Uba

Hello my name is Uba! (oo-bah) I am a bundle of light and experience dedicated to pouring my energy into souls that need some support. During my Sophomore year at the University of Oregon - Go Ducks! - I worked as a personal Caregiver for a very special individual diagnosed with Muscular atrophy in their teens. I attended to all his needs starting in the morning; from yummy food prep and buoyant bathing to comfortable clothing, and kind companionship. I worked with him for a fantastic two years, and in that time I gained a grandiose appreciation and respect for this much needed line of work. In my time, I have also had the opportunity to care for a non-neurotypical 5 yr old with cognitive impairment and low control of fine motor skills. Attending as his therapy assistant, physical trainer, character builder and a buddy. I grew in my patience and practiced playfulness. I am passionate to provide love and support to families of whom I know my presence can make a life-changing difference.
