About Valerie

Hello! I have over five years working in childcare. I have a background in early childhood education and have worked as a private teacher for the last two years. I received my degree from Seattle University in Chemistry, with a specialization in teaching primary and secondary math and science. Over the course of my experience working with multiple families, I've been fortunate to work with multi-age children in singular households. At most, I worked with five children in one home (10 yo twins, 8 yo twins, and a 6 yo). I'm used to the kind of organized chaos that comes with lively, energetic kiddos, and I love being able to bring some calm into the fold, while still maintaining the fun. I've had experience with infants a couple months old, up to 14-year-olds. Additionally, I have experience working with kiddos with ADHD, sensory processing disorders, auditory processing disorders, and authoritative defiance disorders.
