About Valerie

Hello! I love working with kids and making a positive impact in their lives. Over the past 5 years, I've had the opportunity to care for children ages 4-13, including families around my neighborhood and local area, and it's something I enjoy! I would describe myself as patient, friendly, and dependable. I believe communication is really important so I always make sure to keep parents updated, whether that's a quick chat at pickup or regular texts/check-ins while you're away! I'm comfortable setting and following household rules, and I like to keep kids engaged with fun outdoor play, creative activities, and educational games. I can care for up to 2 children at a time and always aim to create a safe, positive, and fun environment. I'm also comfortable taking care of pets too! Most importantly, I'd love the opportunity to be someone you and your children can trust.
