About Valerie

I'd describe my personality as creative, caring and nurturing. I love working with kids/babies because I love to watch them grow. I love to see the impact that I can have on their growth and well-being. I'm looking for a job that will be rewarding where I can help a family with their children in anyway that is needed. I started working with kids when I was 11. I was a babysitter. I started teaching children at 23. In my spare time, I like to read, travel, spend time with my family and children. I love to do crafts on my own or with my children. We love the beach and being together. One thing you should know about me is I love to teach and I have a lot of patience. I am a mom of two. I have a 10-year-old and a 5-year-old. I love to make children happy by playing with them and helping them grow through play and learning. I love to care for babies. I also am familiar with special needs. I come from a family of speech therapists and I am very familiar with occupational therapy as well.
