About Valerie

I am the oldest of 5 kids. I helped my parents with taking care of my siblings such as changing diapers, giving showers/baths, cooking for them, and helping with homework. My little sister is autistic and the past couple years I have been learning how to work with her and understand her. She teaches me how to be a better sister and friend all the time. I don't have much experience with children with disabilities but I know that I'm patient and kind. I also have experience taking care of pets! I have been a Veterinary technician for 1. 5 years. I have house sat and pet sat for three years now, for many different families! I'd describe my personality as outgoing and kind. I like working with kids because they remind you of compassion and kindness... most of the time. Children are innocent souls and are very fun to be around.
