About Valerie

Hello I'm Valerie. For 35 years I was a pharmaceutical representative in hospitals and doctors offices often w/interaction with patients. I understand disease states, medical facilities, treatments. I have had two family members with long-term care needs and developed skills of patience and resourcefulness to keep patients well taken care of. For the last 3 years I have worked with direct clients and an agency, caring for elderly patients in facilities and in homes; building rapport with families and good routines that have retained my clients over a long period of time. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, genuinely caring, problem solving. I like caring for seniors because I like knowing that I can provide good services, so families know that the person they hire is conscientious and caring. Having had family members with long-term care issues I like to provide excellent services and develop good rapport w/ families.
