About Valerie

Hi, my name is Val. I'm someone who genuinely loves people. I show up not just to help, but to truly be present. I'd love to be considered part of the family, not just a caregiver. I've volunteered with the DuPage Senior Citizens Council doing well visits, and I've spent over 30 years caring for others, including managing a five-member household and raising three independent, talented kids. I can help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, organizing, transportation, medication reminders and errands. I believe in supporting overall wellbeing, encouraging gentle movement, and creating an uplifting presence. I have real insight into psychology and how our emotional state affects everything, so I'm comfortable being a patient, engaging listener. I treat everyone with dignity, warmth and respect. I'm hands-on, resourceful, calm and like to inject humor. I respect all people, all backgrounds and our planet. Can't wait to meet you.
