About Vanessa

Hi! I'm Vanessa, a nanny with about five years of childcare experience. I've lived in New York City for the past four years and have a nursing degree from Colombia. My experience includes two years as an au pair, one year of occasional babysitting, and nearly two years with my current family, who will soon be moving abroad. I love animals, spending time outdoors, and reading books. I'm also interested in child development and enjoy supporting children as they learn, explore, and become more independent. If your family is interested, I'd be happy to introduce some Spanish as well! I understand that every family is different, and I'm happy to learn about your routines, house rules, and parenting approach. Driving has been part of both my au pair and current nanny roles, so I have experience driving in rural areas and in New York City. I've had wonderful experiences with the families I've worked with and would be happy to provide references.
