I'm a credentialed Transitional Kindergarten (TK) teacher with a Master's in Education and 12+ years of experience in education. I also have 15+ years childcare experience, a strong background in Early Childhood Education, and am a Reading Specialist.

I genuinely LOVE working with children and bring extensive experience caring for babies through age 12, including multiple siblings, nonverbal children, children with autism, and children with diverse developmental needs. I'm patient, nurturing, attentive, and skilled at meeting each child where they are.

Veronica was amazing! The communication prior gave me so much confidence. Especially as someone who was traveling to CA for a wedding and needing a sitter at the hotel. She did such an incredible job, my kids who usually are so anxious having a sitter, loved her and cried when we left because they wanted to see her again. They are now asking to go back to CA just to be able to see Veronica again. I would recommend her to anyone and will definitely be reaching out to hire her again!

Veronica is the most caring & skilled sitter with our baby, couldn’t have asked for a better!  We met with several other sitters before we found Veronica and almost gave up,  the others just didn’t compare to V! My partner and I go out twice a month and Veronica has been watching our baby since she was 2.5 months. Our little one is now 18 months so we’ve gotten to know Veronica well for over a year. She’s a part of our family now and we hope to keep her until our daughter goes to college!

Veronica is absolutely amazing! She’s extremely punctual, and is wonderful with our son. Our son has special needs, and requires a lot of engagement. Veronica created a warm, safe, environment for him to play and learn. He loves her. 

I wish I could leave a 10-star review for Veronica. She was like a real-life Mary Poppins. We hired her to watch our daughter while we were visiting LA. She rose to the challenge of meeting a new kid in a hotel room (pretty boring!) and gave my daughter a very fun and entertaining night. She communicated pro-actively--reaching out to confirm a few days in advance all the details, including parking. She showed up early and brought her own dinner with her. But more than that, she remembered that I had mentioned my child's birthday and brought tailored gifts to match the interests of my daughter. She instantly clicked with my daughter--who is normally very shy and nervous with new adults. She brought toys and games (although I don't even think they needed them).  She was truly amazing. She brought now only care and conscientiousness--she brought a level of caring that was truly special. I wish we lived closer so that she could be our go-to sitter. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

She’s the loveliest sitter we’ve ever had and continue to hire! So trustworthy, skilled with kids, and just a genuinely sweet person. My kids only want Veronica to babysit when we go out because they say she makes things fun. We’ve been working with her for over two and a half years and are so grateful to have found her. Veronica watched my grandson, and from a grandmothers perspective she did a great job! I would trust Veronica with any type of child care of any age and I would highly recommend her. 

Veronica was with us for a year and a half! We would have kept her longer but my toddler was finally ready for preschool full time. She started when my son was 2 years old. She helped guide him through those terrible 2’s and 3’s. She was calm and engaging and brought that calm energy into my child’s environment. 
Extremely dependable! I could always count on her to show up on time,  and being a working mom that was extremely important to me. 
I always felt safe leaving my son with Veronica, I knew he was in good hands. I never had to worry :) 

Veronica babysat our 2 year old boy a few times. He was smitten with her. She provided really great communication. Veronica also really engaged with him and all of his activities with lots of learning. It was nice having someone who also works as a teacher as she worked with numbers, colors and vocabulary in a fun way. It was a relief to know that our son was so well taken care of while I was at work. We definitely will be having Veronica over again.

Veronica was great with our kids. Very friendly and professional. Our boys really enjoyed hanging out with her. Will definitely hire again!

Veronica is warm and kind and we felt extremely comfortable leaving our children in her care. We hired her for a date night and she handled bedtime for our toddler and 5 year old like a pro, and also was kind enough I ask if we needed any chores done around the house while the kids were sleeping. On top of this the kids had so much fun with her, they asked if she could come over the next day :) We certainly hope to have Veronica back to care for our kids ASAP!

Veronica was absolutely amazing with our 3 year old son. Her warm and calm demeanor allowed him to easily warm up to her and before we knew it, they were completely bonding! She was easy to communicate with and punctual. Would highly recommend her!

Veronica was amazing! She took care of our 3 month old in a hotel room as we attended a conference. She was so thorough ahead of time to make sure she had all the information she needed, and was amazing with our son, feeding him, playing with him, bathing him and putting him to sleep. Her energy was infectious - highly recommend her!

Veronica is a wonderful caretaker. Our three girls were so immediately comfortable with her, they barely let her past the front door! She is intuitive and natural around them, but also engaging and intentional in her approach. Her experience as a sitter, sister, and teacher clearly show. I could not recommend Veronica more highly.  She has been an amazing asset to our family. Veronica has worked for us about 20 days (full days) and we have hired her as an evening babysitter as well. Veronica is always punctual. She is very easy to communicate with and has a positive attitude, She is a school teacher, so she is very knowledgeable and dependable. She would take by toddler to school and watch my one year old. She would take him to the park and on other outings. Veronica loves tasks and errands and would do different things to make my day easier like returning things to the mall and stopping and the grocery store. While the baby was napping she would organize all drawers and do laundry. Veronica will make your life better! Hire her. My kids LOVE her.
