Hi! I'm Veronica & I absolutely love caring for children! I am 27 years old & have been working with children of all different ages from newborn-14 years old for 10 years. 

I was Born & raised in Pittsburgh PA and I reside in the City area. I have my Master's Degree from Carlow University of Pittsburgh in Early Childhood Education/PreK-4 Certification. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with children in and outside my family. PS: I have all my clearances and I am certified in CPR & First Aid. Also, my availability varies. I'm a full-time 1st grade teacher! Currently, I have limited availability. I am only available some weekdays in the evenings; NO WEEKENDS! So send a message when you need me! :)

I worked alongside Veronica for HCEF (Homeless Children Education Fund) summer camp. My experience working with her was positive the whole way through. She was an excellent camp leader for both the kids and the adult volunteers. The children found so much comfort in the way she was organized, compassionate, clear with her boundaries, casual yet professional and created a space for their creativity and learning to blossom. Her care is genuine, and I am grateful to have met her.

We love her so so much and so do our children. We trust her a 100 percent and are so thankful to have found her!!

Veronica watched my son and daughter for an afternoon, she did a great job and was very professional and was very responsive!

Veronica has been great with our children.  She interacts with them and the kids love her (even our toddler). She is great with communicating with us, and we have never had an issue. We will continue to use her in the future!

I volunteered for Veronica at a summer program. Working besides her was truly inspiring as I watched her care for each child's education, health, and overall well being.  The kids loved working with her as well because of the care and relationships she developed with each one.  She is very motivated, caring, and dependable with the work she does for the children- overall truly inspiring to me!

Veronica is creative and flexible. She brings with her trauma-informed practices that just flow into her lesson plans. The children in the program learn without exhaustive effort; the learning comes naturally though the thoughtfully planned activities. She also employs Universal Design for Learning in her approach, so children who have a range of ability can thrive in her classroom. As a volunteer in her classroom, I learned very much about effective teaching strategies.

Veronica is a wonderful teacher and truly cares for her students.

Extremely enthusiastic, energetic and kind. She is dependable and always willing to do what is needed for the kids. She works very hard and would be an excellent tutor or child care provider for your child!

Veronica and I were colleagues as after-school instructors. Kids LOVE her. She is an incredibly thoughtful and compassionate person.

We really liked working with Veronica and would work with her again! We were in town for a wedding and she was responsive and punctual and even brought games upon request for our kids in the hotel. She managed our three kids very well and got our stranger danger baby to warm up to her with smiles throughout the evening (and sent pics to show us). I'd highly recommend Veronica!

Veronica was the BEST! I had a number of different care givers, but she really stood out and was one of a kind!! She babysat our son couple of times and was always on time. My son absolutely loved her! She was flexible, consistent and punctual. She would read to our son, took him to outings (daily walks and playground), play with him and update us throughout the day with pictures. I felt very comfortable with her watching my son and she is the first person I would contact if I need a caregiver!

Veronica has babysat my son on a few occasions during the day for 10-11 hour stretches while my husband and I are at work. My son loves her. She has been very flexible with our schedules and always shows up on time. Veronica is very easy to get in touch with and communication is effortless. She reads to our son, takes him on long walks, to the playground, and sends me pictures and updates throughout the day.  I highly recommend Veronica and look forward to seeing her again in the future.

Veronica has been great! I hired her to watch my son once a week throughout the summer. She is warm and friendly, my son was comfortable with her right away. She takes him to the park, to ice cream, plays various things with him that have his interest. I especially love that she is super reliable and easy to communicate with. We recommend her!

Veronica is the ideal babysitter! I have known Veronica for a few years now and have worked with her in a professional setting and more recently on a personal level as she and I have had play dates with my son and her nephews. She's very interactive, hands on and finds ways to incorporate education through play with the children. Through observation, as she and I both work for the Pittsburgh Public Schools school district I have seen Veronica's wonderful work ethic and commitment to her job. She works great with different age groups. After getting to know Veronica, I am excited to have the opportunity to hire her as a tutor and baby sitter for my son at least 2 days a week due to my son not being able to have in class instruction for 9 weeks. Veronica is the perfect candidate to hire for a teacher, childcare worker, tutor or baby sitter. Sweet personality, respectful and most importantly competent in the field that she is pursing.

I have worked with Veronica for over 2 years in an early childhood classroom. She has a vibrant personality. Our children light up when they see her come into the classroom. She is dedicated to providing the one-on-one attention that you would want your child to receive. She is passionate about children and it shows in her interactions with them.
She is timely, dedicated and compassionate and an overall joy to be around.

Veronica is great! She's polite, friendly, and communicates well with me and the kiddos. She has come to watch them on as little as 1hrs notice, responds quickly, stayed late hours and has a strong background in child education, and even puts up with my v energetic 4y/o. Highly recommend!

Veronica watched my 8 mo old and 3.5 year old while we were in town for a wedding. She arrived on time, fed the kids dinner and got them both to sleep in the hotel room. She was great with them. She was very responsive when I texted and let me know if she had any questions. She was great to work with.
