I'm currently an Honors student in my third year of the nursing program at TUOM. With over 10 years of direct care experience, as well as a mom of two toddlers, I have developed strong clinical judgement and the acute diligence required for high-level caregiving. I pride myself in not only my clinical skills, but also my ability to engage in therapeutic communication, emotional support, and companionship. My education gives me the ability to provide care for individuals of higher acuities than your everyday caregiver. I like caring for seniors because they deserve dignity, companionship, and compassionate support during one of the most vulnerable stages of life. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my kiddos! When my kiddos are sleeping, I'm either doing homework, studying for exams, or tutoring other nursing students.

It is a pleasure to recommend Victoria, an outstanding, thoughtful caregiver. She has been providing me with wound care this summer and now comes for an hour six days a week to change my surgical dressings. In my particular case I benefit hugely from her training as a student heading into her senior year in the nursing and pre-med programs at the University of Maine, Orono. She already had previous training on some of the more delicate aspects of my dressing changes. More generally, Victoria is a thoughtful and sensitive caregiver. She starts each visit asking about my status how I feel, do I have concerns or pains. In fact she is easy to chat with when I have a question about my progress. In sum I am extremely pleased and fortunate to have Victoria as my care giver.
