Hello! My name is Victoria, but you can call me Tori. I am currently a nature-based educator looking for an in-home nanny/preschool teacher job starting in June. I am currently homeschooling my 5 1/2-year-old and am hoping to find a friend for him to learn and play with. I have over 20 years of experience caring for and teaching children. I have previously worked jobs as a daycare provider for ages infant-5 years old, Preschool/ Pre-k Teacher ages 3 to 5, Nanny for ages 3-15, and am currently a certified nature-based educator at a forest school for ages 3-13. Having so much background in the preschool field, I have many things at home that are conducive to learning through meaningful play. I love to create lesson plans involving different crafts, games, books, songs, and activities. I am also very close to a peninsula and a Metropark for daily nature explorations, play, and learning. Tori worked with our family for a couple of years, and we couldn't have been happier with her. She took care of my children (toddlers to older kids) until they were all old enough for full time school. My children all loved her! She was always loving with my kids, encouraged them, and was very creative with activities. One of the best things about Tori that worked well with our family was her creativity and artistic nature. My kids always loved having her at our house because they enjoyed all the "projects" they did together. She spent a lot of time with them outdoors too and they always talked about everything they did together when I got back from work. She was willing to take my kids to their activities and I absolutely trusted her to do this. She was reliable and trustworthy and everything we were looking for in a babysitter. She was a great part of our family. I highly recommend her for a position with yours.
